On March 6th, we had the incredible opportunity to showcase RSET at the Power of Digital Twins symposium, hosted at the Embassy of the United States of America in London. The event was a remarkable success, bringing together over 50 companies to explore how Digital Twin technology is revolutionizing industries and unlocking new possibilities.
Beyond showcasing RSET’s cutting-edge capabilities, the event provided an opportunity to promote Kentucky on the global stage. As a small but meaningful touch, we included Kentucky travel planners in the attendee swag bags—because innovation and hospitality go hand in hand!
An Event Filled with Innovation & Collaboration
The symposium provided a platform for thought leaders, industry experts, and innovators to share insights, exchange knowledge, and discuss how Digital Twins are revolutionizing industries such as emergency response, construction, and education.
We were honored to have:
- Dr. Bola Abisogun OBE (Hon DUniv, HonMBA) – sharing intriguing insights on 5D technology and the future opportunities for young minds. His passion for innovation and education was truly inspiring.
- Natalie Lamb, Managing Director of Matterport – delivering a compelling presentation on the power of Digital Twins, backed by data-driven insights that highlighted their widespread industry benefits. One standout fact from Natalie: 90% of all data has been created in the past two years—a staggering figure that underscores the digital transformation we’re witnessing today.
- Matt Lacey, Managing Director of SurveyTech – coordinating the event flawlessly and serving as MC, ensuring discussions were insightful and impactful.
The Role of RSET in Digital Twin Innovation
During the event, Bill Gregory, CEO of RSET, and Michael Schmidt, CTO of RSET, demonstrated the real-world applications of Digital Twins through immersive visualizations, showcasing their impact across multiple industries:
✔ Police training – Enhancing situational awareness and crisis response
✔ Fire training – Improving preparedness and safety protocols
✔ Legal cases – Providing a source of truth through highly detailed virtual reconstructions
✔ CBRNE (Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and Explosive) event planning
✔ Construction planning – Facilitating better project visualization and risk assessment
✔ Security camera placement optimization – Enhancing surveillance strategies
✔ Preview of the new Proximity Tool – A powerful spatial awareness feature for situational planning
It was incredible to see how Digital Twins are being used to explore environments that would otherwise be unsafe or inaccessible—a game-changing capability across many industries.
